Son Of The 11th Hour is a psychological thriller I shot in the Spring of 2025. It is a challenging, gritty, true story that is also filled with hope. I wanted to keep the visuals for the film feeling grounded, while still finding ways to motivate more dramatic lighting. The director really enjoyed having flexibility with both actor’s blocking and camera movement, so I lit almost every set for 360 camera moves, or with the ability to flip the world within minutes. This presented an opportunity for my grip team to rig lights and frame off of roof tops and ceilings so that there was almost never a stand on the floor. Even though it was challenging at times, I came to really enjoy the speed and flexibility that this shooting style gave us once cameras starting rolling. Son Of The 11th Hour is currently in post-production and is releasing summer of 2026.
